T-Mobile to Launch Ultra-Affordable Optimus T for $30 on November 3rd

T-Mobile USA will be offering their first Android-based phone from LG, the Optimus T next week at the rock-bottom price of $29.99.  Of course this price comes with a two -year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate, however we love the price point.  Say what you want about its form factor or hardware specs, but this is the kind of phone that will help propel Android to the next level in terms of adoption.  Seriously, how does one chose a feature phone over an Android 2.2 handset with a 3.2-megapixel camera when the cost is essentially the same?
