Sprint Samsung Epic 4G, Samsung Galaxy Tab to Get Sprint ID
Well folks, it appears that both the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Samsung Epic 4G will be receiving Sprint ID. Not sure how I feel about this, but I am sure most of you aren’t very happy . To me this is kinda a big deal as Sprint once said that Sprint ID would only sit on top of devices with stock Android, but as we know, both the Galaxy Tab and Epic 4G are far from stock. Apparently the Galaxy Tab version will be getting it at launch, while the Epic will get it in a future software upgrade.
How do you feel about this? Are you disgusted ? I would also like to note that it probably won’t be removable unless you root, which is in itself a total drag.

There is a rather familiar phenomenon in life where we want something… we want it really, really bad. Then we get it.
One of our absolute favorite things about Android is the fact that you can bend and tweak the platform to your needs. Sure, there’s rooting and modding for deep level
Late last week, news broke that PhoneFusion’s Visual Voicemail app had been pulled from the Android Market by Google. Speculation has swirled since then about the reason why, but no explanation seemed to quite ring true. The extent of Google’s official statement is that “we remove applications from Android Market that violate our terms of service.”
However, after speaking with people with knowledge of the matter, we can rule a couple of speculative explanations out and take a stab at what’s likely the case. We’ll also see how Google could have avoided a lot of distress and bad press by handling the situation differently.
