Droid Pro Priced at $179.99, Due November 18

Verizon has officially announced pricing and availability  for their upcoming, world-ready Droid Pro.  Set to debut on November 18th, the 1GHz ‘Blackberry Killer’ will run $179.99 after a two-year service agreement and $100 mail-in rebate. Starting tomorrow (November 9), customers will be able to pre-order the phone online and through select Verizon stores. The Droid Pro will make a terrific handset choice if you spend time travelling abroad as it works on Verizon’s 3G network as well as more 120 countries with data and 3G speeds.

Thanks to its hardware, you don’t have to be world traveler to enjoy the Droid Pro. The phone sits right at the top of the heap with other great devices with its 1GHz processor, Android 2.2, a 3.1-inch touch screen, and 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and dual LED flash.
