Dell Announces Two New Phones for India

Dell is becoming quite famous in the Android-scene with the Dell Streak and purported follow-up, but their phones don’t really excite the market. They’re giving it another shot with the XCD28 and the XCD35 although it probably won’t be a success. They’re ugly and plain, no matter how you look at it. The specifications won’t stimulate savvy people to buy them either as they’re running on an outdated processor architecture, the ARM11 core on 600 MHz, combined with 256MB RAM.  As compared to other devices being launched, these little babies might even be on the bottom of the barrel. However, the flipside of the coin says that these are better than any feature phone and still could attract an audience.  Take a look at the complete specs below:

XCD35 is also known as the ZTE Blade, which is proving a hit with ‘savvy’ people in the UK, as it has a high performance for low cost ratio. It’s also easy to mod, so people like tinkering with the roms etc.
