MetroPCS Offering $229 No-Contract Optimus M on November 24

MetroPCS announced their first Android smart phone today, the Optimus M for availability later this week. Starting November 24th, the nation’s fifth largest carrier will offer the Android 2.2 handset for $229 outright. The Optimus M closely resembles other Optimus series phones with a 3.2-inch touch screen and 3.2-megapixel camera. This device should do well to help LG continue the momentum behind the Optimus line, especially when paired with the $50 unlimited calling, texting, and data plan.
