Video of Google Maps 5 and Motorola Tablet from D: Dive Into Mobile [VIDEO]

It’s one thing to read second hand reports of what a Motorola tablet looks like running Honeycomb.  It’s something altogether different to see it in moving pictures.  Thanks to John Paczkowski and All Things D, we can show you nearly nine minutes of last night’s demonstration.  Watch as Andy Rubin shows off a very elegant Google Maps 5.0 on next generation Android hardware.  Given the “very early” build of Honeycomb, we’re over the moon at how sleek it looks.

Motorola Atrix 4G Approved by FCC

So it appears all but official that the Motorola Atrix 4G, which has been rumored to be launching March 1 on AT&T, has been officially approved by the FCC. Though the FCC documentation doesn’t mention the name “Atrix,” it’s pretty clear that is the device in question. First, it lists the model number as MB860, which Motorola has identified as the Atrix. Add to that the rare (in a phone) 5GHz 802.11n wifi and AT&T’s 3G and HSPA+ bands and it seems pretty well confirmed.
