Better Priority Inbox Support Comes to Gmail App

Let’s be honest here, the Priority Inbox in Gmail for Android isn’t the best. After seeing how cool and efficient it was for desktops, we expected just a little more out of the mobile client. Apparently, complaints don’t fall on deaf ears in Mountain View. Today sees a revamped version of the client with options such specific alerts for prioritized emails, a separate window for viewing and the familiar priority icon. As Google puts it, it’s still not quite as good as the desktop version, it’s a great start. Another improvement found in v.2.3.2 is an easier way to switch between reply, reply all, and forward!

Remember kids, this Gmail app is for Android 2.2 and above only.
