Huawei Unveils IDEOS X5, X6 for Australian Market

Earlier this week, Huawei announced a pair of new Android-based smart phones in their IDEOS product line.  Running Android 2.2, the new IDEOS X5 and X6 will ultimately end up in Australia, although timing and pricing have yet to be made available.  The X5 features a 3.8-inch touch screen, 1GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera, and support for WiFi (802.11b/g/n), and 14.4Mbps HSPA.  The X6 comes with a larger screen (4.1-inches), Dolby Mobile Surround Sound, and offers HD video recording and playback with HDMI output.  Look for pricing and estimated street dates as they near their respective launches.
