HTC’s Peter Chou Confirms LTE Handsets for 2011



Peter Chou, CEO of HTC, recently spent some time speaking with Mobile World Live where he confirmed the company’s plans torelease LTE-capable handsets next year.  Chou indicates that the handset maker should have them available before long.With Verizon rolling out this new 4G LTE network, we we’re hoping to see something in the first quarter.  

The CEO also said that HTC will support Near Field Communications in some of their upcoming products.  As many of you know, NFC is a key component in Android 2.3 as well as the Nexus S.
