Yahoo! IM Updated to Include Voice Calls, Still Only Works on Evo and MT4G
The Yahoo! IM app is killer, no doubt. It got an update last month to include video calling, and it’s getting another this month. This update brings voice calls, as well as the ability to use video calling in landscape. Don’t get your hopes up, though. This update doesn’t give you the ability to use the video calling on devices other than the HTC Evo 4G or MyTouch 4G. I hate to nag, but Yahoo needs to change this, as there are several more devices with front-facing cameras out there that need a good video chatting app. Can you say Galaxy Tab or Epic 4G? Even the new Nexus S has a FFC, but it’s not supported. Bummer, huh? Get the updated version by searching for “Yahoo! Messenger” in the Android Market or scan the QR code below. Let us know what you think about the new version. We look forward to reading your comments!
