Lonely Planet Drops City Guides to 99¢ Until Christmas

Lonely Planet announced earlier today that they have dropped the prices of their 25 augmented reality apps down to 99¢ a piece. The apps, which normally run $4.99 each, help users find hundreds of points of interest for each city. Point the camera in whatever direction you’d like and find nearby restaurants, bars, accommodations and more. The Lonely Planet apps can be downloaded on any phone running Android 1.5 or higher. Be sure to get yours before December 25th when the price goes back up to $4.99 each. Hit the break to see a full list of cities supported by Lonely Planet.
