Archos 70b is available for Pre-order (Europe Only)

Our French friends have the unique opportunity to be the first to pre-order the new 7″ tablet from Archos, the 70b.  At just under 100 Euros, one can enjoy a WVGA resolution display – capable of video playback as well as showing ebooks – along with WiFi b/g and 4GB of onboard storage.

According to Slashgear, there’s also an SD card slot for up to 16GB of extra capacity, stereo speakers and a USB port. Battery life is tipped at up to 10 hours of ebook reading, 6 hours of video or 18 hours of music with the screen turned off.

For those of us State-Side, fear not, the same tablet went through the FCC earlier in the year, so there’s a good chance we’ll be seeing it soon!
