Cowon Debuts Android 2.1-Powered ‘D3 Plenue’ Media Player

Cowon recently unveiled their new Android 2.1-powered D3 Plenue media player which features a 3.7-inch ( 800×480) AMOLED display. Available in two colors (black, purple), the D3 comes in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB models, and provides support for Bluetooth 2.1 (802.11b/g), FM radio, a gravity sensor, tactile feedback, and a handful of applications. We checked all over the Cowon website for a price or availability but came up empty.  So let’s ask you – what would you pay for something like this?

Depends on the processor. I would want to play games and would need a good GPU. I’m guessing since they didn’t list the processor it’s not going to be very good.

Hopefully their pricing will be competitive with the iTouch, maybe a little cheaper. It’s good to see some Android PMPs coming out, it’s a much needed push into that market.
