HTC Scribe surfaces in US Trademark filings. Is it a new tablet?

HTC isn’t new to the tech game, and they have been rocking with some amazing phones all around the world. Even with the statement that they are not working on tablets, it really is no surprise that they may have been working on some tablets to keep up with Motorola, LG, and Samsung all along.  Engadget tells us that they have submitted a trademark for the HTC Scribe, which is being listed as a “Handheld wireless device, namely, a tablet computer.”   Granted, not all things that are trademarked get used, and there is no word that it will be shown at the CES, but if not, maybe in time for the MWC in February?  What do you think?
