For those who are searching for a tablet to replace your laptop, this just might be it. The Transformer brings the best of both worlds with the optional docking station. This turns the Transformer into a full-fledged notebook with a QWERTY keyboard for desktop use, while extending battery life up to 16 hours! Just announced at CES2011!

A 10 inch tablet with the option of having a thin slide out keyboard that also provides INCREDIBLE battery life?! I can’t wait to see this tablet when it’s fully developed. Hopefully ASUS will release some more news on it later in the month. Until then check out this video from Tech in Style, they received a replica to show off.

“With a slim lightweight design and 10.1” capacitive touch-screen, the versatile Eee Pad Transformer is the perfect pad computer for people who want to enjoy multimedia on the move, but still wish to have easy access to the web, email and other productivity applications. A custom user interface provides easy access to the many features of the Android® 3.0 operating system, while the NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 chip set provides full support for Adobe Flash, smooth HD video conferencing and playback, a lightning fast web experience and incredible mobile gaming performance.”

Wow.. this is sick! I’ve never understood tablets. But this, I can understand this. Because of the extended battery life and keyboard this is the best of both worlds. I hope it come to Tmobile!
