Possible Confirmation of ARM-Powered Google TV
According to Armdevices.net, they have a tip that someone in Google is confirming that an ARM-powered Google TV is in the works, and will be released “soon.” Whether or not this “tip” is something that can be trusted, it would certainly be awesome to see a sub $100 ARM powered Google TV on the market. It can do nothing but help the platform spread to the masses.
It also seems that one of the main reasons why Google TV had been blocked by various TV networks was because of the Flash plug-in that is built into the units. (word is that there is a workaround floating around somewhere that will allow the flash player to spoof these blocks and let you watch the content, you’re going to have to find that one on your own).
