This is Getting Silly….Silly AWESOME That is!

So Engadget got their hands on the full Tegra Product roadmap slide, and it is making all the geeky fanboi’s drool some (me included).  A Tegra 3 chip?!? A 3d processor?! How YOU doin?

As Engadget states, this is an aggressive timeline to be sure, but there are interesting things to glean from the info listed.  One of the biggest questions about dual core processors and beyond is how they are going to do with power management in an ecosystem that is already struggling.  It looks like Nvidia may be working on that for the T3’s, as the “ULP CPU Mode” listed above is said to mean “Ultra Low Power”.  Hopefully some good news on the power management front.

Either way, if this roadmap actually comes to fruition, we are in for an explosion of new Android devices that are going to have some awesome power behind them.  Here’s to looking forward to this year’s releases!
