Facebook denies rumor that they are launching branded phones with HTC

We’ve all heard the news about some new potential Facebook-branded phones, but are they legit?

Dan Rose, head of business development for Facebook stated, “This is really just another example of a manufacturer who has taken our public APIs (application programming interfaces) and integrated them into their device in an interesting way.”

Reuters tells us further that all the rumors have been overblown, and that Facebook says they have no intentions of releasing a Facebook branded phone.

What do you think? Is there one in the works that they want to keep under wraps, or is there no truth to the rumors?  Let us know what you think below!
