Motorola’s SuperBowl XOOM Teaser Says “Goodbye 1984″ [VIDEO]
Motorola just threw a one minute video online which appears to be their Super Bowl teaser commercial, due this Sunday. Starting at the headline and continuing throughout, the ad takes aim directly for Apple. Titled “Goodbye 1984″ it is an obvious allusion to Apple and their 1984 Super Bowl ad from years gone by. It’s also a pointed reference to George Orwell’s dystopian novel full of public mind control and Big Brother telling people what to do.
The one minute clip doesn’t give your Android enthusiast much in the way of new, as we already know the goodies that lie ahead. On the other hand, it’s certainly going to get the attention of the general public when it starts dropping all the great specs.
