Samsung to Debut 8.9-Inch Galaxy Tab at CTIA

We received an email last week from Samsung telling us to “save the date” of March 22nd as they were holding a press conference at CTIA Wireless in Orlando, Florida. It took us all of three seconds to figure out the company was unveiling their new Galaxy Tab.  With a terrific selling 7-inch model and a brand new 10.1″ beast just unveiled at Mobile World Congress, we surmised it would the 8.9-inch edition that was getting the rumor treatment.  Our suspicions have been somewhat confirmed now that we’ve seen a teaser image posted on Samsung Mobile’s Facebook page.

Asking “What’s your Tab Life?” the image shows a Galaxy Tab with a honeycomb background and the numbers 78910.  Splitting the numbers up a bit we have an 89 in between 7 and 10.  In other words, there is a third Tab size on the horizon, set to debut at CTIA.  AndroidGuys will be in attendance at the conference and we’ve already RSVP’d for the Samsung show.  Look for our first impressions and reaction to the news come March 22nd!
