Google Body Lands in Android Market for 3.0 Devices

Are you one of those lucky folks who already have a XOOM, or happen to be running Honeycomb on your Android device?  Head to the Android Market and download the latest official Google application, Google Body.  Designed with 3.0 in mind, it lets users get detailed looks at a 3D model of the human body.

While the first version is a female model, a male version is coming soon.  View various layers of the human body, including muscles, organs, nerves, bones and more.  The free app works much like a Google Earth for bodies featuring pinch zooming and rotation and should be a fun one to mess with for a while.  We can imagine medical professionals and students also digging the features of what will likely be a constantly evolving app.
