“The State of Android” Shows Activations Out-Pacing US Births 30:1 [VIDEO]

We recently saw an Android-related video that showed us the history of activations going as far back as the launch of the G1.  Today finds us learning of another video which puts the more than 350,000 current daily activations into perspective.  Check out the video below for a clever infographic-like take on how Android is quickly becoming the preferred mobile OS around the world.

  • The functionality and features makes the android for being a mobile OS all around.

  • Anybody notice that the equation in the pic is wrong? Shouldn’t it be android = births X 30?

    • Mikey

I think if it were Births X 30 it would imply that for every 30 births there is 1 Android activation. The equation reads “For every baby (the baby carriage) that equates to 30 times Android which is equal to 30 Android activations. That’s the way I read it.
