Google Announces Instant Previews for Android 2.2+ [VIDEO]

No longer confined to the PC and laptop experience, Google announced this afternoon that Instant Previews now works on Android devices running 2.2 and higher. Much like its computer counterpart, this Android version lets users compare search results with web snapshots, making it easier to find what you are looking for. This will make Googling much easier on smaller screens as the feature eliminates unnecessary forward and back clicking. The service is available in 38 languages and can easily be enabled without any additional downloads. All one ahs to do is tap the magnifying glass found next to search results. From there, a side-by-side comparison view of the web results will show up and… well, we think you’ll know what to do.

Words are one thing, moving pictures are another.  Hit the break to see a video demo of Instant Previews for Android.
