Trio of Unannounced Motorola Phones Spied with Verizon Branding

Now that the HTC Thunderbolt launch is official, we have to start the cycle all over again, getting jazzed over the next big handset.  On the horizon are a host of devices including the Droid Bionic, Droid Incredible 2, and the Samsung Stealth.  While we could get to hyping these phones, wouldn’t it be more fun to look further down the road?  Let’s start talking about the Droid 3, Droid X2, and a device codenamed ‘Targa’ instead!  A handful of images have landed online recently, giving us rather decent looks at three unannounced Motorola smart phones.  So what goes into each of these three?  Hit the break and find out.

These are the details as gathered by PhoneArena and condensed to bullet point. Look for the Droid X2 and Droid 3 some time over the coming months with the Targa landing in the second half of the year.

DROID X2

  • Model MB870
  • Code name of ‘Daytona’
  • qHD display
  • Dual-core processor

DROID 3

Can’t wait. Hope the droid 3 has that look of the original motorola droid. Really don’t care for the droid 2 look. I like that black metal look.
