Will the HTC Shooter be Announced as EVO 3D?

We’ll find out next week for certain, but the first specs for the rumored HTC EVO 3D have landed online.  Known by its codename of (PG86100) HTC Shooter, the details closely resemble those of the HTC Pyramid.  Known features for the Android 2.3.2 powered Shooter include a 960×54 qHD display, and an Adreno 220 GPU. Given the graphics prowess, Blog of Mobile (Japanese) surmises that that Shooter will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core MSM8660 Snapdragon chipset.  Sprint takes the stage on March 22nd where they should be debuting at least three new Android devices.  We’ll be front and center and ready to give you our hands-on and early impressions.

Sounds nice but what about Verizon. We get something like their Evo, then they get something a lot better. Maybe Verizon will get something better oneday. Maybe. It was nice listening to the whole team on the podcast last thursday.

Screw Verizon, they have a load of new phones as it is. This is what makes Sprint great, they wait for other carriers to show their hand & Sprint drops a bomb on their whole line-up.
