RadioShack Offering Trade In Credit on New Android Handsets

If you are in the market to upgrade your device, and want a nice incentive to do so, RadioShack is offering some trade-in deals that may make your decision a little easier to make, or at least satisfy your spouse that you really do need a new handset and it won’t break the bank.  Check out the deals they have below (taken from a press email):

  • Sprint HTC EVO 4G: From March 18 through April 2, customers will receive a $50 guaranteed trade-in when they trade in their old handset and activate a new the EVO.
  • Sprint HTC EVO Shift 4G: Beginning Sunday, March 20, customers will receive a $100 guaranteed trade-in when they trade in their old handset using Trade & Save and activate a new EVO Shift 4G. The $100 trade-in value reduces the Shift 4G to only $49.99 on new two-year activations!
  • Sprint Samsung Epic: From now through Saturday, March 26, this handset is only $99.99 for new activations.
  • AT&T HTC Inspire 4G: Currently priced at $49.99 through Saturday, March 19. Beginning Sunday, March 20, customers will receive a $50 guaranteed trade-in when they trade in their old handset using the Trade & Save Program and activate the Inspire 4G on new activations and upgrades. The $50 trade-in value reduces the Inspire 4G to only $49.99 on new two-year activations and upgrades.

    Don’t forget Radio Shack charges a $300 Termination fee in addition to your carrier’s ETF if you cancel before 180 days / 6 months!

    If I canceled now, I would have to pay Radio Shack $300 plus the $200 Sprint would charge me.
