PlayOn Doesn’t Want You to Miss a Minute of March Madness

March Madness is a crazy time for Basketball fans everywhere, and thanks to PlayOn, you won’t miss a minute of the action.  According to their press release, PlayOn allows you to stream the games to nearly every Android device running at least 2.2 (They have also added support for iOS, GoogleTV, Roku, and some gaming devices.)

The service is USD$4.99 per month, and gives access to sports content from ESPN, NHL.com, MLB.tv, ESPN3, and NFL Rewind (in addition to March Madness.)

You can sign up for a free 14-day trial from their website, but certain features require additional subscription fees.  This is a perfect solution for those who do not have cable television, or work odd schedules and don’t want to miss the games.  Who’s signing up?  View the full release after the break.

PlayOnTM has you covered this year, whether you want to keep up with your bracket at home, or on the go. Streaming to your couch, to the office or to the classroom, the PlayOn software from MediaMall Technologies brings you every game in the NCAA® Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. PlayOn can beam the Big Dance to your Television via your gaming console, Roku, GoogleTV, and nearly every mobile device running iOS and Android 2.2+.

“Last year we were thrilled to offer PlayOn subscribers access to every game in the NCAA Championship,” comments David Karlton, MediaMall Technologies’ CTO. “This year we wanted to let hoops fans take March Madness with them. PlayOn still works with your television, but it also works on the most popular devices, including Android Phones, iPads and iPhones.”

For just $4.99 per month, PlayOn subscribers have access to sports content from ESPN, NHL.com, MLB.tv, ESPN3.com and NFL Rewind along with their March Madness fix. Other streaming content providers include Hulu, Netflix, Spike TV, MTV and Comedy Central.

“This year a lot of the early round games are on cable channels at odd times,'” remarks CEO Jeff Lawrence. “Many of our customers don’t have cable, so this is an easy way for them to see college sports on their TV or mobile device. PlayOn delivers every play of every game – live as it happens.”

Existing PlayOn customers can download the latest version of PlayOn from http://www.playon.tv. New customers can try it out free for 14 days at http://www.playon.tv. For customers, new or current, who want to go mobile, download the PlayOn mobile app in the Android Marketplace or iTunes App Store.
