Additional Samsung Galaxy Prevail Details Uncovered on Eve of Boost Mobile Event

Boost Mobile takes to the stage tomorrow night where they are expected to announce the Samsung Galaxy Prevail.  Well, that and some other stuff, but you don’t care about the non-Android news.  Widely anticipated to be Android-related from the moment the invitations went out (we got one), the details needed confirmed a bit.  And confirmed they are.  Engadget has scored a 19-page document that sheds light on the short term plans for Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.  In those pages are some the specs and pricing for the pre-paid/no-contract Galaxy Prevail.

The phone will be dropping at a very reasonable $179.99 and will feature a 3.2-inch touch screen and a 2-megapixel camera. Other details include your standard Android support with WiFi, microSD, Bluetooth, GPS, accelerometer, and speakerphone. Not the most impressive phone on the market, but for this price, it’s tough to pass up.  Look for the final details (full hardware, launch) to arrive sometime tomorrow night or shortly after.
