FlightBoard Gets Tablet Optimization

Frequent travelers and those living the jet-setting lifestyle will be happy to learn that Mobiata’s FlightbBoard application for Android has been optimized for tablets.  The app, which updates every five minutes, lets users keep up with real-time status for flights from 4,000 airports and 1,400 airlines.  In other words, pretty much every jet in the sky.  FlightBoard’s aesthetics mimic the look of the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and offers flight sharing information over email, SMS, and social networking.  Although the app is available on other platforms, only Android can boast two Live Wallpapers with real-time flight boards on the home screen.  FlightBoard runs on any device with Android 1.6 or higher and has a $3.49 one-time purchase.
