Screenshot It Grabs Your Atrix’s Screen, No Root Required

Edward Kim, developer of the successful Car Locator app, recently updated his screenshot app, Screenshot It, with a special new feature: the ability to grab screenshots on an unrooted Motorola Atrix.

Kim is keeping details of exactly how he accomplished this trick close to the vest, but if you have an Atrix, download his app and let us know if it works in the comments.

Believe me, I would do it if I could. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be a way to do it without having the user root their phones.

It works!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Coming from an iPhone, screenshots was one of the features I missed and I am NOT tech savvy AT ALL, so was very glad to stumble upon this app. I’m guessing my Atrix is not rooted, as I’ve done nothing to “root” it and barely know what that means. I bought the phone and just started using it :-) Thank you again!
