Rogers’ Xperia Arc and Xperia Play Tipped for April 28 Release

Sony Ericsson recently announced a bunch of new Android phones at the MWC 2011, notably the Xperia Arc and Xperia Play. Canadian carrier Rogers has officially announced that they will be carrying these two terrific phones, launching them during Spring 2011. Our friends over at MobileSyrup are saying that a tipster has informed them that both devices will hit Rogers on April 28.  While Rogers hasn’t given a solid date yet, both devices are available for pre-order over at Rogers.

Xperia Arc is an amazing device that comes with a sleek and slim design and offers some good specs. Whereas the Xperia Play is the world’s first PlayStaion Certified phone, it’s designed for people who can’t live without gaming on their mobile phone. Both are fantastic Android devices and they are definitely worthy of your attention.

In terms of pricing, both devices are going for $99.99 with a 3-yr contract.  Should you want to but them without a long term commitment, you can get either device for just $549.99.  If you live in Canada and dying to get one of them, then head-over to Rogers and pre-order your device now!
