Dell Streak 7 Now Available in the U.K.
Dell has announced that the 7 inch cousin to the Dell Streak 5 is now available in the U.K. The FroYo tablet that launched in the U.S.A. in February is available on Dell U.K.’s site for £299, which will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The specs of the Streak 7 aren’t that high-end compared to tablets like the Motorola Xoom, but it does have:
- Tegra 2 dual-core processor
- WVGA (800 x 480) touchscreen with Gorilla Glass
- 1.3MP front facing camera and 5MP rear facing camera with dual LED flash
- 16GB on-board storage expandable via SD memory card slot
- 2780 mAh battery
Many of the specs are shared with its smaller cousin, Dell Streak 5. Unlike T-Mobile’s “4G” version of the Streak 7, the version available in the UK at the moment is WiFi-only.
Dell has promised that the Streak 7 will be getting Honeycomb but, when this will happen is still unknown.
As a user of the Dell Streak 5, I may be picking one of these up soon. Will you?
