Motorola XOOM Lands in Canada, Thanks to Telus

Motorola announced the first ever Honeycomb tablet this year during the CES event in USA, and it’s currently the best Android tablet in the market money can buy. It’s available in both Wi-Fi and 3G version in USA and now the device is officially launched by Telus in Canada. Telus is one of the largest mobile phone networks in Canada and they are currently offering the Wi-Fi version of Motorola XOOM. If you live in Canada then you can get the beast for $599.99. As a reminder, have a look at the features of the device:

  • 1 GHz dual-core Tegra 2 processor
  • 10.1-inch widescreen HD (1280×800) display
  • 4G LTE upgradeable
  • 1080p HD video support
  • HDMI output
  • Adobe Flash Player support
  • Front-facing 2-megapixel camera and rear-facing 5-megapixel camera that captures video in 720p HD.
  • Built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting
  • Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction

    “the best Android tablet in the market money can buy”…hardly worth mentioning because it’s the only tablet with Android 3.0 that’s currently available.

      They’ve said a 3g version is coming later this year, but Best Buy and Futureshop have already been selling this for over a week like you said, so Telus isn’t doing anything new.
