Use Your Phone as a Remote Control for PowerDVD

Windows software package PowerDVD has released an Android app that lets users control DVD playback on their desktop computer remotely using their phone.

In addition to working as a remote, the app allows users to wirelessly sync and play photos and videos between the phone and computer; use the phone’s touchscreen as a wireless mousepad for the desktop computer; and use multi-touch controls to remotely rotate and zoom photos.

Power DVD Remote is free for PowerDVD 11 Ultra and Deluxe users and $4.99 for PowerDVD 11 Standard users. The company also released a version of the app for iOS devices.
