New Qualcomm Snapdragon Chips Leaked

A recently leaked presentation from Qualcomm seems to be showing off the company’s upcoming Snapdragon chipsets. The leaked chips were the MSM8270, MSM8930, MSM8960, and the APQ8064. According to the presentation, all of these processors will be based of the Krait architecture. These new chipsets are said to be so powerful that they’ll outperform the Cortex-A15 chips. Not only do these chips boost overall clock speed, they also shine in graphics performance (said to allow “Console Level Gaming”). These processors are said to clock in at 2.5 GHz and come in single, dual, and quad core variants. Qualcomm will also be sending samples of the MSM8960 with 3G and 4G LTE cellular capabilities to companies by the end of spring. Although the testing of these processors is just around the corner, the actual processors will not be available in handsets and tablets until 2012.
