Free National Weather and Traffic Alerts for Your Android Device.

In a week where we have seen some pretty severe storms rip through the country, an app has been released to help notify Android users of weather alerts to help them prepare.

The app is from Global Area Network, it allows you to receive minute-to-minute updates warning you about future weather conditions. This application works from the GPS on your device and will automatically speak out the weather alert when needed. This application can give you precious time to seek cover from devastating storms such as the recent tornados in the south. This application is a free download  from the Android market and is also available on Blackberry devices. The only note I have to make about this application is that GPS can really drain your battery life. Anyways, take the time and download this application from the link below.
