Walmart to Sell Droid Charge, Price Leaked

Samsung recently announced their first ever LTE device which is known as the Droid Charge. It was introduced at CES 2011 and then last month we saw that the phone is still alive and it will be launch soon. The device was supposed to launch on April 28th but was delayed by Verizon. Now it looks like Verizon will officially launch it this month or maybe this week. Our friends over at Android Central got their hands on a leaked shot which is showing that Wal-Mart will offer the Samsung Droid Charge for $298.88. It may be a bit high, but it does have some killer equipment. Have a look on the features:

  • 1GHz Hummingbird processor
  • Android 2.2
  • 4G LTE capability
  • 4.3 inches Super AMOLED Plus display
  • 8 Megapixels rear-facing camera / 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera
  • 2GB internal storage
  • Micro-SD support for up to 32GB memory

It’s not dual core, so think it’s the only drawback, otherwise the device is nice. So anyone getting the Droid Charge from Verizon?

Wirefly has the Charge for $249.99, why would anymore pay $300?

Nope; I’m going to Sprint when my contract is up in 3 months. Not crazy about Verizon’s new data plan; and Sprint offers a 3D camera phone, which Verizon does not. I think I’m done with Verizon.
