The rumors around Amazon’s Android-based tablet get a little more concrete as DigiTimes tosses some additional details into the mix. According to their sources, Quanta Computer recently received OEM orders from Amazon for the tablet expected to launch later this year. Further, they add that electrophoretic display (EPD) maker E Ink Holdings is providing the touch screen technology, making for a bright easy-to-read display for in daylight conditions. Quanta is reporting that orders during peak season are anticipated to hit around 700k-800k per month, a figure we are sure Amazon likes.
