Samsung Planning May 24 Event – What Could it Be?

Samsung is throwing a second mobile event this month where they will take to New York once again to announce… something.  The company already has something up their sleeve for tomorrow, May 5th which we quickly pegged as a Nexus S announcement.  We hear others thinking it might be in line with the Infuse 4G, although a simple press release could suffice for both situations.

Given that this one does not have a carrier associated with it, we’re initially leaning in the direction of carrier availability for the Galaxy S II.  Remember last fall when they took to the stage to unveil the four products that made up the Galaxy S (Captivate, Fascinate, Epic 4G, and Vibrant)?  Maybe something along those lines.  Then again, it could be tied to the Tab 8.9 and Tab 10.1 as well.  Hmmm.  Guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
