Google Earth Gets Honeycomb Optimization

An update to the Google Earth app for Android today adds enhanced support for Honeycomb tablets. As detailed on the Google Blog, the application adds features such as full textured 3D buildings and a host of layers (Panoramio, roads, Wikipedia, etc). Tap on a picture or entry and watch the window overlay on top of the map so you never lose sight of what your’re looking at. Even though this new version is really about tablets and larger screens, Google Earth runs on any device with 2.1 or higher. Read more on the update over at the Google Blog!
