Verizon Confirms Droid Charge Launch for May 14
Verizon is shooting out emails today to let everyone know that their next Android handset, the Droid Charge, goes on sale tonight at midnight. So hurry up and scrape together $300 and get ready to climb into bed with Big Red for two years! Since the phone was delayed a bit we thought we’d recap the specs really quick. The Samsung handset runs Android 2.2 and features a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a 1GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 1.3-megapixel camera on the front side. So why so much for the phone, you ask? Well that’s because the Droid Charge joins the HTC Thunderbolt on the very short list of 4G LTE devices for Verizon.
