AT&T to Offer 1.2 GHz Dual-Core HTC Lead
The phrase “when it rains, it pours” comes to mind today as we try to keep up with a host of HTC and AT&T rumors coming out of the 911Sniper blog. We have already covered the HTC Puccini tablet and the HTC Holiday handset this morning, so why not add another? Without further ado, it’s time to put the HTC Lead on your radar.
The specs read like your typical high-end Android wish list with Gingerbread (2.3.4), a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8660 processor, and 768MB RAM. Ironically, these pale slightly when compared to the Holiday as the Lead has a smaller screen, less memory, and downgrades in the camera department. Whereas the Holiday has an 8MP snapper on the back and a front-facing 1.3MP camera, the Lead only offers a 5MP camera on the rear. Other details include support for Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 3.0.
