T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide Caught In the Wild

We got our hands on a leaked roadmap for T-Mobile last month. Among some awesome devices like the HTC Sensation and Samsung Hercules, we noticed something called the “Doubleshot”. We later learned that it’s actually a MyTouch 4G with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. After weeks of speculation, we’re finally getting a first look at the device itself. Unfortunately, we can only see what looks to be the left side of the keyboard. There aren’t many specs to go on at the moment, except that it will run Android 2.3.4, along with Sense 3.0, with an 8MP camera on the back and a front-facing camera of unknown megapixels. It’s said to be just as fast as the HTC Sensation, so our interest is peaked.

We’ve also heard that the keyboard is similar to the one found on the G2, which is one of the best keyboards I’ve ever used. I have to say that from the picture, the keyboard looks reminiscent of the MyTouch 3G Slide, but only time (and some more leaked photos) will tell. BoyGeniusReport is scouting the MT4GS for an early June release, which doesn’t match up with the leaked roadmap. More on this as it develops.

With that being said, who’s pumped for the MyTouch 4G Slide? I know I am! Leave a comment below, or on our Facebook Wall!
