HTC Bumps Processor Speed for ChaCha “Facebook Phone” Ahead of US Launch
HTC has bumped up the speed of their ChaCha “Facebook Phone” up to 800MHz ahead of its eventual US debut. Announced back in February at Mobile World Congress, the unique handset was initially listed with a 600MHz processor. While Android enthusiasts and high end users might turn their nose at an 800MHz processor, we can’t imagine the typical demographic even caring. As much as it might pain you to admit it, not everyone needs a dual-core beast.
The ChaCha is expected to come to the United States as part of an exclusive deal with AT&T. The exact date and pricing has yet to be determined.
