Samsung Indulge Announced for Cricket Wireless
Cricket Wireless has never been at the top of the pack as far as Android devices go. Their Kyocera Sanyo Zio and Huawei Ascend failed to impress many. But it looks like they’re stepping up their game a bit with the announcement of the Samsung Indulge. Let’s see what the Indulge brings to the table:
- 1GHz processor
- Froyo (Android 2.2)
- 3.5-inch display
- sliding QWERTY keyboard
- TouchWiz 3.0
- 3MP camera
- 1500mAh battery
- MicroSD card slot
Now, the specs aren’t that mind-blowing, especially considering the newer Android devices out there. But it’s nice to see Cricket actually trying to keep up in the Android race. They’re almost a year behind, but at least they’re launching a phone with a decent processor and Froyo.
The Indulge can be yours today for the hefty price of $329.99. No word on if this price will go down for new customers or upgradeable contracts, but we’ll keep digging. So, who’s anxious to pick one of these up? Anyone think Cricket should stop trying with Android? Leave a comment below or on our Facebook Wall!
