T-Mobile G2’s Gingerbread Update Release Imminent?

To all the G2 owners out there, it looks like the Gingerbread update you’ve been waiting for is almost here! TmoNews is reporting that G2 owners, whom have ordered replacement phones, have gotten their new G2s with Gingerbread pre-installed. On top of that, a leaked HTC document (as seen below) further pushes the notion that we are getting very close to an OTA rollout. Still no official word on a date, unfortunately, but we know it’s close!

So, who’s excited for the update? Has anyone given up and rooted to get Gingerbread? Let us know in the comments, or on our Facebook Wall!
