Xperia Play Experience Pack

Who says E3 is all about the consoles? Over in LA Sony Ericsson have introduced a multimedia dock for the Xperia Play that comes with a pocket USB cable and a cable to connect to your own audio system. Buyers of this experience pack will also get 3 free Gameloft games by scanning the QR codes in the box.

Choice of games is limited though to 3 of:

  • Assassin’s Creed™ – Altaïr’s Chronicles
  • Uno™
  • Real Football 2011
  • Modern Combat 2 : Black Pegasus
  • Let’s Golf! 2
  • Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction™
  • Brothers In Arms® 2: Global Front
  • N.O.V.A. 2 – Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance
  • Eternal Legacy

The dock and the games available can be viewed if you happen to be at E3, but no sale date or price have been given. Although our very own Scott Webster guesses that it should run $45 or less.  So do you think bundling games together with accessories (even those that don’t have much connection to games) is a good idea? Let us know below.
