Track, Analyze, and Compare Bicycle Rides with Strava

Cycling enthusiasts have another biking app to put on their radar with Strava landing in the Android Market late last week. Like its iPhone counterpart before it, lets users track speed, power, distance, and climb from their handsets while on the go. Using the GPS found in Android smart phones, Strava gathers data provides the ability to share, compare, and even compete with friends and other cycling fans. Of course, you can always compete against yourself to see if you’ve improved at all.

Features of Strava for Android:

  • Record your bike rides, view maps and analyze ride data.
  • Compete for King and Queen of the Mountain honors on auto-detected climbs.
  • Motivate yourself to ride further and faster, and move higher on the leaderboards.
  • Instantly upload your rides to the Strava.com community, where you can track your performance, enter events, and join clubs.
