Locomo Labs Releases Tablet-Optimized Facebook App ‘Friend Me’

Locomo Labs is making quite a name for themselves with a string of recent tablet-optimized apps hitting the Android Market.  Following closely on the heels of Newsr (RSS reader) and Tweetcomb (Twitter), a Facebook application called Friend Me arrives.  Like their other offerings, the one not only looks great, but it’s full of features and easy to use.  Post status updates, check on friends, view images, check-ins, and more. The Photo tab is a nice approach to viewing your albums and the Games feature lets you play Facebook games within the app. And because Android 2.2+ offers Flash support, the app allows for those titles as well.

Friend Me is strictly designed for Honeycomb tablets with 3.0 or higher and can be downloaded for free out of the Android Market.  Thanks to apps like these, Locomo Labs is fast becoming a favorite developer around the AndroidGuys headquarters.

We’re also fans of FriendCaster Tab, another solid tablet offering out of Handmark.  What are you using for Facebook?

Download Friend Me from the Android Market for the lovely cost of zero dollars!
