Verizon’s Next Honeycomb Tablet leaked, XOOM 2?

2011 is really the year for tablets, and a lot of well-known companies like Samsung, Motorola, LG, HTC, and others have already launched Android tablets. They’re still working hard to bring more, of course. Verizon Wireless is the largest mobile operator in the U.S., and they are also the first one to launch a Honeycomb tablet, in the form of the Xoom. Verizon is also bringing an LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 soon.

Now it looks like Vzw has something new and big up their sleeves. Our friends over at Droid-Life spotted a video on YouTube that’s actually a Verizon ad showing of the next Honeycomb tablet. The video was made private, but they were smart enough to save a screenshot. It’s neither the Motorola XOOM nor Galaxy Tab 10.1. My guess is that this is probably a successor to the XOOM and it’s actually the Motorola tablet that was leaked a few weeks ago. There is no Moto logo on it, but it looks like a Motorola device to me, so my money is on Xoom 2.

Nothing’s confirmed as of yet, so we can only guess for the moment as to what this mystery tablet is. With that being said, we want to know what you, our loyal readers, think. Could this be a Xoom 2, or is it something totally new that we’ve never seen before? Sound off in the comments below!

Having used the Xoom for several months I could honestly say that it is FANTASTIC! And yet, there are so many more things they can add! And if rumors are true that they will price it competitively against iPad then there goes the tablet war, as the only thing holding back the Xoom is its price. Looking forward to Xoom 2. Probably going to be amazing!
